Already live in a loud city with thin walls. On vacation I want silence and thick curtains, even if it means monsoon season.

Unpopular opinion but I love rain. Give me a huge window, a storm, and a ridiculous breakfast buffet and I am happy.

Hostel plus good weather is basically my normal vacation already, so I pick that.
